Surah Ash Shuara
Surah Ash-Shu’ara is the 26th chapter of the Holy Quran. It was revealed in Makkah, making it a Makki Surah. This Surah consists of 227 verses, 1,363 words, and 5,773 letters and is found in Juz 19 & 20 of the Quran. The name “Ash-Shu’ara” means “The Poets”, referring to the misguided poets of Arabia who influenced people with falsehood and empty words.
This Surah focuses on the struggles of past prophets, the fate of disbelievers, and the importance of following divine guidance. It warns against arrogance, rejection of truth, and the consequences of disbelief.
