Surah As-Saffat is the 37th chapter of the Holy Quran, revealed in Makkah, making it a Makki Surah. It consists of 182 verses, 865 words, and 3798 letters, and it is found in Juz 23 of the Quran. The name “As-Saffat” means “Those Who Stand in Ranks“, referring to the angels who remain in disciplined ranks, glorifying and obeying Allah.
