Surah Ar-Rahman is the 55th chapter of the Holy Quran. It was revealed in Makkah, making it a Makki Surah. This Surah consists of 78 verses, 352 words, and 1585 letters, and is found in Juz 27 of the Quran. The name “Ar-Rahman” means “The Most Merciful”, which highlights Allah’s immense mercy and countless blessings upon humanity and creation.

One of the most remarkable features of this Surah is the repeated verse: “فَبِأَيِّ آلَاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ“
(“So which of the favors of your Lord will you deny?“)
This verse appears 31 times, reminding humans and jinn of the numerous blessings of Allah.
